On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is with great pleasure to welcome you to the 15th International Conference on Mechanical Engineering (ICME 2026), hosted by the Ecole Militaire Polytechnique (EMP) in Bordj El Bahri, on April 28th-29th, 2026. This milestone edition aims to create an integrative forum where academics, researchers, and industry professionals can converge to share the latest advancements and future directions in mechanical engineering. The conference will aim to transcend conventional disciplinary boundaries by fostering a deep, cohesive knowledge exchange across four core pillars: the precision of Design and Manufacturing; from eco-design to additive manufacturing, the Structural Integrity and Dynamics; from ballistics to robotics and risk analysis, the innovation of Materials Engineering; from advanced composites to multi-scale modelling, and the complex Fluid Dynamics and Energetics, from renewable energy to aerospace technologies. Featuring plenary lectures, technical sessions, workshops, and poster presentations, the conference program emphasizes networking opportunities that can spark the future partnerships and foster dialogue, by connecting established academics, industrial pioneers, and the emerging PhD students whose innovative ideas are critical to forging the future of the field.

Conference location

The conference will be held in the Ecole Militaire Polytechnique - Chahid Abderrahmane Taleb (EMP) located in Algiers, the capital and the largest city of ALGERIA. This pioneering engineering college is located in Bordj El Bahri, a lively city lapped by the Mediterranean Sea and facing the well-known Algiers bay. EMP is one of the oldest technical schools for the training of highly-qualified academics in ALGERIA. Its know-how covers teaching and research activities in the fields of Computer Science, Chemistry, Electrical and Mechanical engineering.

Instructions for Authors

We invite authors to submit papers (up to 10 pages) describing the methodology, objectives, results, and conclusions of their work. Please use the official template available below.

Papers within the scope of the conference must be written in English, carefully checked for correct grammar/spelling and should be submitted electronically through the ICME Submission Portal on Microsoft CMT platform.

  • Originality and Academic Ethics

    • Only original work will be considered. Hence, authors should make sure that their submissions do not substantially overlap works that have been already published or being considered by another journal or conference. Papers that contain any form of plagiarism will be automatically rejected at the screening process.

  • Review and Publication

    • Original submissions will be examined thoroughly by at least two referees, and all accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings.

  • AI Disclaimer

    • While AI has introduced powerful tools capable of generating entire papers, it is not an author in itself. The use of AI tools should be restricted to enhancing language and improving readability. Authors are required to explicitly disclose the utilization of AI tools during the preparation of the submitted manuscript. Program

The detailed program of the conference will be annouced in due course. The event will feature the following session formats :

Planery sessions

Keynote talks delivered by distinguished experts and invited speakers from academia and industry, covering groundbreaking research trends and future challenges in the fields.

Oral sessions

Technical presentations of peer-reviewed research contributions. Each session will feature authors disseminating original findings, followed by academic discussion and questions from the audience.

Poster sessions

Display and discussion of research works in poster format, offering opportunities for direct interation between authors and participants regarding ongoing and completed studies.
